Wednesday, February 27, 2008 Back to Soiffer-Haskin for the Dennis Basso Fur Show (Round 2) Activists headed out into the bitter cold on Wednesday evening to shame Soiffer-Haskin for showcasing the murdering scumbag Dennis Basso. Dennis is a pervert who gets his rocks off by torturing and skinning animals. This location is perfect for flyering and activists spoke to many caring and compassionate passersby, who totally agreed that fur is disgusting. Soiffer Haskin is a comapny that orchestrates private fashion shows and sales on behalf of individual fashion designers. Please let Soiffer Haskin know that it is not a good idea to represent fur scum, like Dennis Basso. Soiffer Haskin Corporate Office The sound of loud angry voices filled the air a block away from Madison Square Garden. No more cages, No more traps…No more fur on Basso’s racks” brought nods of approval from commuters and tourists on their way to Penn Station. As usual, anyone wearing fur or even fur trim was confronted and insulted. Police were called to the scene and showed whose side they were on by standing directly in front of the banner that read “Fur Shame” accompanied by pictures of mutilated and skinned animals, making sure to obscure it from everyone’s view. This only caused the demonstration to become louder and angrier and ensured that protesters would stay until the very last employee left the building and every light was turned out. Customers of Dennis' bloody business were so intimidated that they were escorted out a rear entrance rather than be subjected to protestors' outrage. A wise decision on their part, but, cowardly none the less. |
