![]() Another beautiful warm New York City day saw WAR activists gather at the corner of Wall and Broad Streets at the heavily fortified entrance to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The bustling intersection is full of NYSE workers, brokers, investors and plenty of tourists. Many stopped to ask questions about Huntingdon Life Sciences and to ask us why we were protesting the NYSE. It is always great to talk to people on “The Street” about a listed company that hides behind a fake CPA firm and whose position on the ARCA Exchange was likely secured by threatening the NYSE with lawsuits. Many stopped to ask us questions about LSR’s financial position, their growing debt and the global campaign that includes grassroots groups in over 18 countries. Next we moved our protest to the busy corner of Broadway and Exchange Place where many of the NYSE Specialist have their offices. Our focal points at this location were: Kellogg Specialist Group, LaBranche & Company and VDM (Vander Moolen). We distributed literature with all of their addresses and contact information. Many who stopped and chatted with us mentioned that they knew either someone who worked for the NYSE or one of the Specialist firms mentioned above. Quite a few said that they would make a call to their friends and tell them what they had learned about LSR aka Huntingdon Life Sciences. The bloody mutilated beagle puppy and sad lifeless cat, on our NYSE posters, spoke volumes and were shocking enough to capture the attention of even the most cold hearted and aloof financier. We were amazed at the amount of literature that was distributed in one afternoon.
